Up and Working the Same Afternoon

1. Pick a sunny wall

Somewhere that catches direct sun through the day, 6.5 to 8 feet up. That height gives the sensor the clearest view of the ground below. Bracket, screws and wall plugs are in the box.

2. Two screws, then hang it

Mark the screw points through the bracket, fix it to the wall, then hang the light on it with the solar panel facing up. No electrician needed.

3. Choose your mode

Pick Mode 1, 2 or 3 on the unit or from the remote. Give it one full day of sun and from then on it runs itself, dusk to dawn.

Before You Order

Does it need any wiring or batteries?

Neither. The solar panel on top charges a 2000mAh cell built into the housing, so there is no cable to run and no battery to buy or replace. You screw the bracket to the wall and that is the whole installation.

How far away does it detect movement?

The passive infrared sensor covers roughly a 120° arc and picks up movement out to about 26 feet. Mounting it 6.5 to 8 feet up gives it the clearest view of the ground you want covered.

What are the three modes?

Mode 1 comes on at full brightness when it detects motion and switches off again once you have gone. Mode 2 does the same but falls back to a dim glow instead of going dark. Mode 3 runs at a low level for four hours after dusk and then reverts to Mode 1 for the rest of the night. All three still jump to full brightness on motion.

How bright is 2500 lumens, really?

Bright enough to light a short driveway or a patio end to end. For comparison, a typical 100W household bulb is around 1600 lumens, and this puts out up to 2500 across three heads in 6500K daylight white.

Will it work in winter or on cloudy days?

Yes, though runtime drops. The panel still charges under cloud, just more slowly than in direct sun, and shorter winter days mean less charge going in. That is true of every solar light. Mount it where it gets the most direct sun you can give it.

Can I point the heads where I want?

Yes. All three heads pivot independently, so you can aim one down a path, one at a door and one along the wall from a single mounting point. The solar panel angle is adjustable too, so you can tilt it toward the sun.

Is it actually waterproof?

It is rated IP65, which covers heavy rain and wet snow on an exposed wall. It is built to stay outside year-round. IP65 does not cover submersion, so do not mount it somewhere that floods.
